This section has been designed to provide you with information on how to get connected with God and Saint Anne's. There are four major categories: Spiritual Life Institute Classes, Christian Healing Center, Retreats, and Parish Life Ministries.

1) Adult Education Classes are available so that you may be discipled and equipped for all good works. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We grow closer to God as we allow God's Word to minister to our hearts through daily reading and in-depth Bible studies.

2) The Christian Healing Center is St. Anne's "love gift" to those who are needing spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. It was the vision of Fr. Tony Baron, the rector of St. Anne's, to establish a healing ministry within San Diego County that can provide prayer, spiritual direction, and pastoral counseling. Fr. Tony, before he became rector of St. Anne's in June 2002, noticed a house adjacent to the church and strategically located on South Coast Highway that would be the ideal location for such a ministry. After three months as rector, our prayers were answered and the property was made available. The parish provided $60,000 within one week for the downpayment to purchase the property. The St. Anne's community donated all the furnishings, revamped the run down facility with interior and exterior decorations, and provided beautiful flowers around the facility. By January, 2004, the facility was up and running. Bishop Gethin Hughes dedicated the facility a few months later and the building plus the ministry has been a testimony of God's faithful provision and the loving kindness of the St. Anne's community. To God be the glory! For more information on the Christian Healing Center, please look at the new website for more information.

3) Renewal Retreats The everyday grind can sometimes wear us out. There are times when we need to get away from our daily life and spend some quality time with the Lord so that we may be refreshed and renewed. There are several retreat opportunities to do just that.

4) Home Growth Groups are small groups who meet with a specific purpose, sometimes just to have fun, other times to participate in a common interest such as praying or quilting. Small groups are a key to getting to know fellow parishioners in a more intimate way. It is the difference between "knowing" a family member and just seeing them on holidays.

We hope that you will find this section helpful as you find new ways of getting connected with your family at Saint Anne's.
